As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote Teachers and staff are downright mean to the students. It is sad that the bullies in the school are the teachers and staff. The principal is uneducated and unable to communicate in an effective manner. They teach to the test instead of actually educating our students. IF your child has any kind of learning needs you need to run. There are several teachers that clearly need to retire, or find a new field of work as they are clearly burnt out. I feel bad for the students because these are supposed to be fun years of their schooling and instead they are treated like they are prisoners. Close Quote

Open Quote This school is ranked very high because of good test scores. That simply means they have gotten the majority of students up to just barely grade level. Those students that are high achievers or smarter than average are left to languish. This school does nothing for them. If you have a high achiever, find a private school or home school because at this school, your child will be dumbed down to average and if he or she does not fall in line, he or she will be branded as a student with poor behavior due to sheer boredom. This has been our experience and when the teachers are approached, they become extremely defensive. They won't meet with you and if you try to talk to the principle you are trying to climb a wall because she doesn't support parents, only her teachers. You are just stuck with no where to turn. About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
