The strongest grades are 4th and 5th: 4th math 66.7%, 5th math 63.2%, 4th reading 62.5%, and 5th reading 64.3%. Science is a standout: 42.9%, second among nearby schools with current data only to Horace Mann School. However, 3rd grade is a weak spot: reading 36.0% and math 46.1%, both above the district but below the state.

Horace Mann School, Randolph Heights Elementary, and Howe Elementary generally outperform it, especially in reading; its science score is much higher than Dowling Elementary's 25.5% despite a similar free/reduced lunch rate.
