Sun Path Elementary is a K–5 school in Shakopee, Minnesota, serving 521 students in the Shakopee Public School District, with a relatively low student-teacher ratio of 13.5 and a free/reduced-lunch rate of 40.12% in 2024–25, down from 50.73% in 2022–23.

On 2025–26 tests, Sun Path Elementary scored above both its district and the state in every subject: math 51.2% (district 38.2%, state 44.9%), reading 51.2% (district 47.2%, state 48.6%) and science 28.4% (district 22.0%, state 25.5%). That makes it a bright spot in a district that trails the state in all three subjects, and Sun Path has the highest all-grade math proficiency among Shakopee elementaries with reported data, ahead of Red Oak Elementary and Sweeney Elementary and above Eagle Creek Elementary School and Jackson Elementary in math; Eagle Creek leads in reading (57.5%) and Jackson in science (33.0%). Grade-level results are uneven: fifth grade is a strength, above district and state in reading (67.3%) and math (50.0%), while third-grade reading (34.6%) is below both. Subgroup effectiveness is mixed, with English learners consistently in the 84th–85th percentile (4 stars) and special education rising to the 71st percentile (4 stars), while the Hispanic subgroup is at the 47th percentile (2 stars). Note that SW Metro 288 Elevate Online K-5 has school-level scores suppressed by the state because of very small enrollment, and Special Services reports no test-score data.
