Roseville Public School District serves about 7,256 students across 12 schools—eight elementary, one middle, two high, and one alternative—with grades PK–12 in the Roseville, Minnesota area. The district is rated 218th of 458 Minnesota districts, at the 52nd percentile with 3 stars, and its 2025–2026 proficiency trails the state in math (39.8% vs. 44.9%), reading (45.1% vs. 48.6%), and science (20.4% vs. 25.5%).

School results vary widely. Falcon Heights Elementary is the top performer: 54th of 869 elementary schools, 94th percentile, 5 stars, with math 72.4%, reading 70.2%, and science 37.7%. Williams Elementary and Parkview Center School are also strong; it serves PK–8 and outperforms Roseville Area Middle in middle-grade math, reading, and science. At the other end, Little Canada Elementary, Central Park Elementary, and Harambee Elementary School rank in the bottom 15–19th percentile with 1 star, while Edgerton Elementary has the highest free/reduced-lunch rate but somewhat higher math and reading than those three. School-level math ranges from 21.5% to 72.4%, a 50.9-point gap.

Science is the district’s weakest subject, with only Falcon Heights Elementary, Parkview Center School, and Brimhall Elementary above the state science average. Roseville Area Senior High has relatively weak test proficiency, but its 91.2% graduation rate is above district 87.3% and state 84.9%, and its 1.8% dropout rate is lower than both. Fairview Alternative High School has 0% math proficiency, a 46.8% graduation rate, and a 14.8% dropout rate, while Fairview Program has suppressed science data and cannot be evaluated academically here. Student-teacher ratios do not simply predict performance: Falcon Heights has a high elementary ratio but top results, while Harambee Elementary School has the lowest ratio but low proficiency.
