Northview Elementary serves 503 students from pre-K through grade 5 in Mount Sterling, in Montgomery County. Its clearest standout is fifth-grade Editing and Mechanics: in 2025–26, 75% of students were proficient, compared with 53% in the district and 48% statewide, and at least 22 points above the three other Montgomery County elementary schools.

Northview’s results were above the state and district averages in every reported subject in 2025–26. Its grade averages were especially strong in Reading (60%, about 10 points above the state) and Writing (51%, 16 points above); it also led the nearby schools in Mathematics, Reading, Writing, and Editing and Mechanics. Science was 43%, 3 points above both the state and district, while Social Studies was a narrower strength at 39%, just 1 point above the state. Results vary by grade: fourth-grade Reading was 53%, below Mount Sterling Elementary’s 57%, even as Northview’s third-grade Reading result of 65% was the best among nearby schools with reported scores.
