Smoky Valley has one high school, Smoky Valley High, serving grades 9–12 and enrolling 243 students. In 2025–26, its all-grades English language arts proficiency was about even with the state rate, while math was 2 percentage points below it. The clearest strength is science: 52% of students were proficient, 14 percentage points above the state.
