Maplewood Elementary School is a PK–6 school serving 714 students in the MSD Wayne Township district on Indianapolis's west side. The sharpest comparison is McClelland Elementary School, in the same district with similar enrollment and poverty, which posts 38.28% ELA, 41.04% math, and 46.05% science — roughly 23 to 27 points higher.

Among nearby schools, only The PATH School (38.1%) is worse, while Christel House Academy West (28.2%) is nearly identical.
