Open Quote Well I would love to hear from a teacher to explain to me WHY when a kid does something wrong does the entire class gets punished. (example: 20 kids in class, 7 kids won"t stop talking, sooooo! the teacher announces that the entire class has extra work.) How does punishing everyone get the point across to the 7.

1. you are teaching children to hate, not just you but also the 7.
2. you teach children that no matter how good they are they are they will still be punished for others actions.
3. you teach children that only when EVERYONE is good will you be rewarded ( and probably not even then ).

BACK IN THE DAY THOSE 7 WOULD BE IN THE (PRINCIPALS) OFFICE WORKING.. NOT LAUGHING BECAUSE EVERYONE IS PAYING FOR THEIR STUPIDITY.

Does anyone else feel this way? Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio
Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
