West Terrace Elementary School is a K–5 school serving 504 students on Evansville's west side, part of the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corp in southwestern Indiana. It is the largest elementary in this comparison group and one of the district's strongest campuses, ranking in the 78th percentile of Indiana elementary schools with 4 stars while the district overall sits in the 31st percentile with 2 stars.

Math is the school's signature strength: about 66% of students were proficient in 2025-26, roughly 32 points above the district and well above the state. The closest in-district comparison, Cynthia Heights Elementary School, posts nearly identical ELA results (49.57 vs 49.12) but about 12 points lower in math, which makes the math result the more distinctive one.
