Eastern Greene High School is a small rural public high school in Bloomfield, Indiana, serving grades 9–12 with 358 students in the Eastern Greene Schools district south of Bloomington. In 2025–26 it ranked 106th of 415 Indiana high schools — the 74th percentile, with 4 stars — placing it above its district's overall standing (120th of 374, 68th percentile, 3 stars). That is a notable rebound from 2023–24, when Eastern Greene High School fell to 250th of 432 (42nd percentile, 2 stars).

Math and biology are the school's clear strengths. In 2025–26, 30.67% of students were proficient in SAT Math — above Indiana's 25.6% and second only to Bloomington High School North and Bloomington High School South among nearby traditional high schools; it is well ahead of Edgewood High School (23.03%), Owen Valley Community High School (17.86%), White River Valley High School (12.00%), and Bloomfield High School (9.52%).
