That district-wide figure, however, masks wide differences among the three schools.

Bloomfield High School is the strongest performer, holding 3 stars for three straight years and ranking 181/415 (56th percentile) in 2025–26. Its 100% graduation rate beats the state's 89.7%, and SAT Evidence-based Reading and Writing proficiency is 61.9% versus 51.9% statewide. SAT Mathematics, though, is a serious concern: 9.52% proficient against the state's 25.6%, a 17.56-point drop from 27.08% the year before. Bloomfield Middle School is the clearest improvement story, climbing from 1 star and the 29th percentile to 3 stars and the 52nd percentile in two years, with all-grade ELA rising 10.10 points to 37.04% — now above the district's 32.09%. Its math (31.02%) and science (38.71%) still trail the district.

Bloomfield Elementary School has the district's best attendance — 10.1% chronic absenteeism versus 16.2% for the district and 16.7% for the state — and beats state levels in 4th-grade science (49.09% vs. 43.8%) and 5th-grade social studies (52.94% vs. 47.2%).
