Open Quote Outstanding staff, administration, and even food and janitorial staff! An award-winning school not just because they inspire kids to want to learn, but because they care about the children who go there. The academics are stellar (see their rankings vs. the state average), but the extra-curricular opportunities are also great.

The one star review couldn't be more wrong. However, just look at it and you can guess who the problem was!! Close Quote

Open Quote Very uncaring disrespectful to me and treated my child poorly. They always kept her in at recess almost every day for falling behind instead of sending it home for me to help her when I requested it, and our pediatrician said that was not good for her she needed that downtime. They however did not care they were just rude and treated us like a number or robot not as human beings with feelings Principle uncaring and just plain hateful I fell sorry for anyone who comes in contact with this school your child will be treated like she has a plague if she is not perfect and get all A's. You can jump through all the hoops they give and still not good enough if you don't bow down to their pacific demands even when your pediatrician backs you up your still wrong. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
