Western School Corporation is a four-school Indiana district serving about 2,542 students in grades K–12 through Western Primary School (K–2), Western Intermediate School (3–5), Western Middle School (6–8), and Western High School (9–12); Western School Corporation is rated 4 stars and ranks 74th of 374 statewide, the 80th percentile.

Western High School is the clear flagship — the only school rated 5 stars in 2025–2026, ranked 35th of 415 high schools (92nd percentile), up from 64th and 48th in the two prior years. It posts a 98.0% graduation rate, beats the state in every benchmarked subject, and has the district's lowest poverty rate (27.49% FRL). Western Middle School is solid at 4 stars, scoring above the state in all seven benchmarked subject-and-grade combinations, but its percentile has slipped from 86th to 80th to 74th. Western Intermediate School has the district's best attendance (9.6% chronic absenteeism, 7.1 points below state), yet its rank has fallen three straight years and its 4th-grade science dropped 8.35 points.
