Tri-Township Junior-Senior High School is a very small public junior-senior high school in La Crosse, Indiana, serving grades 6–12 with 143 students—roughly 20 per grade. It is the only school in the Tri-Township Cons School Corp, a district ranked 230 of 374 in Indiana. High-school outcomes are the main concern. SAT Evidence-based Reading and Writing is 41.18 (state: 51.9), and SAT Math is 0%—below the state's 25.6% and every nearby school, after 0% in 2024–2025 and 8% in 2023–2024. Biology End-of-Course proficiency is 15.0, far below every nearby school, from Knox Community High School at 35.19 to Kouts at 85.71. Subgroup results are uneven: male students ranked in the 10th percentile in 2024–2025 versus the 48th percentile for female students. Nearby Westville High School serves a similar share of students from low-income families yet ranks much higher, so small class sizes and poverty alone do not explain the gap.
