East Porter County School Corp is a six-school Indiana district serving 2,275 students across the Valparaiso and Kouts communities, and it ranks #21 of 374 districts statewide (94th percentile, 5 stars). The district has no standalone middle schools and no alternative schools; each community instead pairs a K–5 elementary with a grade 6–12 combined middle/high school, giving three elementary schools and three secondary schools, all modest in size.

Morgan Township Middle/High School is the district's flagship, ranked #11 of 415 Indiana high schools (97th percentile, 5 stars) with the district's best ELA (74.75%), SAT reading/writing (74.24%), SAT math (46.97%), and secondary science (60.81%). Morgan Township Elementary School is the steadiest elementary (87th percentile, three straight years in the 84th–87th range) and leads elementaries in math (66.46%) despite the lowest poverty rate (13.99% FRL) and lowest spending ($8,947). Washington Township Middle/High School ranks 95th percentile with a 100% graduation rate at the district's highest poverty level (29.17% FRL). Washington Township Elementary School leapt from the 53rd to the 74th percentile, and Kouts Elementary School climbed 62nd to 84th. Kouts Middle/High School dropped to the 82nd percentile with the district's lowest ELA (48.34%), though its Biology EOC of 85.71% is the district's best.
