Open Quote My grandchildren attend Morgan Township Elementary School. I must say that I have been extremely impressed with the quality of education they have received thus far.

There are a couple of places I feel might need improvement. I would like to see more emphasis placed on teaching geography to the students. In this day and age, I feel it is quite important for them to be proficient in this area. I feel it is important for the students to be knowledgeable in current events as well.

I sincerely believe much of the school's success comes from the outstanding leadership of the elementary principal. With her obvious interest in the children and the upbeat attitude she displays for both students and teachers alike, the school's tone for success is set.

Every time I have entered Morgan Twp School, I have felt the warmth, friendliness, and welcome from so many, and that made me feel good to be there. I have loved seeing the work of the students displayed in the hallways. I have appreciated the dedication of so many of the teachers. I am happy that my grandchildren are fortunate enough to be able to attend this outstanding place for learning. I thank you all for any part you do in making this school such a major success!! About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
