The city's top performers are remarkable. Hamilton SE Intermediate and Junior High School is the #2 middle school in Indiana out of 486, and Riverside Junior High School (#7) and Fall Creek Junior High School (#8) give the city an unusually deep bench. Fishers High School ranks #9 of 415 high schools with a 99.7% graduation rate, while Hamilton Southeastern High School ranks #13 and posts stronger SAT scores (RW 79.31, Math 58.98). At the elementary level, Thorpe Creek Elementary School (#20), Southeastern Elementary School (#31), New Britton Elementary School (#45), Harrison Parkway Elementary School (#46) and Geist Elementary School (#49) all rank in the top 5% statewide.

Per-student spending averages $11,719 and student-teacher ratios 16.6:1, but neither cleanly predicts results.
