Three middle schools serve ZIP code 60491 across grades 5–8: Hadley Middle School (grades 5–6) and Homer Junior High School (grades 7–8) are in Homer CCSD 33C, while Oak Prairie Junior High School (grades 6–8) is in Will County School District 92. In 2025–2026, all three schools had higher all-grade proficiency than the state in both ELA and math. The clearest difference for families is math: results ranged from 53% to 64%, an 11-point spread, compared with 77% to 83% in ELA, a 6-point spread.
