Zip code 60137 has 11 schools—seven elementary, two middle and two high schools—offering families options from elementary through high school. The most important area-wide pattern is that every school’s reported 2025–2026 test results are above the state figure for the matching subject and grade or exam.

Among elementary schools, Forest Glen Elementary School leads all-grades ELA at 78%, while Abraham Lincoln Elementary School leads math at 77% and fifth-grade science at 74%. At the other end, Churchill Elementary School scores 62% in ELA, 55% in math and 49% in fifth-grade science—gaps of 16, 22 and 25 points, respectively, from the elementary leaders. In middle school, Hadley Junior High School leads Glen Crest Middle School by 3 points in ELA and 14 in math, though Glen Crest leads eighth-grade science, 75% to 72%.
