Summary:
Nine elementary schools in ZIP code 60133 serve different grade spans across four districts. In 2025–2026, their average results were 50% in all-grades ELA, 39% in math and 41% in fifth-grade science, compared with state results of 56%, 40% and 48%. The most important finding is that results vary widely from school to school, while the area’s averages were below the state in all three subjects.
Anne Fox Elementary School was the clearest standout, leading the area with 68% in ELA, 50% in math and 58% in fifth-grade science—12, 10 and 10 points above state results. Hanover Highlands Elementary School was next in ELA at 63% and close behind in math at 49%; both results were above the state figures. At the other end, Parkwood Elementary School had the lowest ELA result, 35%, while Greenbrook Elementary School had the lowest math result, 23%. The top-to-bottom gaps were 33 points in ELA and 27 in math.
