Summary:

ZIP code 60108 has five schools: three elementary schools and two middle schools, with no high schools. The latest results show strong performances at some schools alongside much lower scores elsewhere: elementary all-grades ELA ranges from 54% to 83%, and middle-school ELA from 62% to 87%. The most important finding is that school and grade matter: the area has clear standouts, but results are not consistently high across all five schools or subjects.

Erickson Elementary School and Westfield Middle School stand out in their respective school groups. Erickson leads elementary schools in all-grades ELA at 83% and math at 69%, respectively 27 and 29 percentage points above state results; Westfield leads middle schools at 87% in ELA and 54% in math, 31 and 15 points above the state. At the other end, Winnebago Elementary School has the lowest elementary all-grades ELA and math: 54% in ELA, 3 points below the state, and 40% in math, matching the state. Stratford Middle School is mixed, with 62% in ELA (5 points above state) but 34% in math (6 points below). Grade-level results add exceptions: Dujardin Elementary School leads 3rd-grade math at 81%, compared with Erickson’s 75%.

Results changed in different directions from 2024–2025 to 2025–2026: Erickson rose 2 points in ELA and 5 in math, while Dujardin rose 8 and 10; Westfield fell 3 in ELA and 4 in math, and Stratford’s math fell 8. SchoolDigger’s 2025–2026 ranking percentiles are 92nd for Erickson and 89th for Westfield, compared with 44th for Winnebago and 46th for Stratford. Ratios do not neatly track scores: Stratford’s 2024–2025 student-teacher ratio was 8.1, compared with 12.9 at Westfield, while Winnebago had the lowest elementary ratio, 9.6, but the lowest elementary all-grades results. Reported free/reduced lunch eligible figures are from different years: Erickson, Westfield and Dujardin reported 4%, 3% and 10% in 2021–2022; Stratford and Winnebago reported 46% and 47% in 2024–2025. These are context, not explanations for results.
