Riverton High School serves grades 9–12 in Riverton, Illinois, and enrolls 357 students. Its results point to a challenging academic picture: in 2025–26, it was below the state in every reported ACT and PreACT subject and grade. The most important concern is mathematics, where 11th-grade proficiency was 23%, 17 percentage points below the state.

Compared with the state, Riverton’s 2025–26 ACT proficiency was 44% in English language arts (ELA), 23% in mathematics and 37% in science, versus 50%, 40% and 48%, respectively. The results match those reported for Riverton CUSD 14, so there is no school–district gap in these figures.
