Open Quote Fantastic High School! It really made my oldest daughter ready for college and pushed her to take the most challenging classes that she could handle. Central encouraged her to get involved in activities at the school and to also volunteer in the community as well. I have another daughter who is currently attending and I wouldn't dream of ever changing her from this high school. Wonderful school spirit from the students, staff and parents at this school. About Student-Teacher Ratio
Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.

About Immunization Rates:
Each year, public and private schools across the state are required to send data about their students’ vaccination status to the Illinois State Board of Education. The state Board of Education compiles the data and shares them with the Illinois Department of Public Health. Public health officials use the data to monitor trends, track compliance with state immunization laws and identify pockets of vulnerability should an outbreak occur.

At this time, SchoolDigger.com only shows immunization data for public schools.
