Harry D Jacobs High School serves 2,056 students in grades 9–12 in Algonquin, a northwest suburban community, and is part of CUSD 300. Its 2025–26 graduation rate was 96%, compared with 95% in the district and 90% statewide. But chronic absenteeism was 32%, versus 22% in the district and 24% statewide; only nearby Dundee-Crown High School was higher, at 38%. The most important takeaway is this contrast: most students graduate, while a notably large share are chronically absent.
