Summary

Fremont H Teed Middle School serves 472 students in grades 6–8 in Kuna, ID, and has become one of the faster-improving middle schools in the region. Three years ago, the school sat in the 19th percentile of Idaho middle schools with a 1-star rating; today it ranks in the 41st percentile with 2 stars. That progress is visible in test scores: math proficiency has climbed from 26.5% to 41.6%, English language arts from 39.1% to 48.4%, and science from 26.7% to 38.9% — gains that far outpaced the Kuna Joint District and the state over the same period.

English language arts is Fremont's clear strength, especially by 8th grade — where 57.1% of students are proficient, above both the district (54.8%) and the state (54.5%). The grade-level story is compelling: ELA proficiency rises from 38.8% in 6th grade to 57.1% by 8th grade, suggesting students make strong gains during their middle school years. Math, while much improved, still trails the district (41.6% vs. 44.3%), and both Kuna Middle School and Synergy Middle School post higher math scores. The school is ran poorly. They have put amazing teachers in place to educate the students. However, the superintendent through the principal do not support the staff which trickles down through the student population. We are changing districts! Close Quote
