About the Smarter Balanced Assessments: All students grades 3-8 and grade 10 took the ISAT by Smarter Balanced. Testing began the first of April and continued into May. There are two components, Math and English Language Acquisition (ELA). Students take two tests for each component, one is a computer adaptive assessment and the other is related to a performance task given students.
