Open Quote Overall I do not recommend this school. I was not comfortable at all when speaking with the principal regarding concerns. When I was first introduced to the principal she was very sweet but when I approached her later in the year with a very serious concern she became upset with me and began to argue and speak to me as if I and the matter at hand were of little to no importance to her, she even chuckled at me. There solution to the problem was to tell all the involved children to not talk about it anymore. I couldn't believe it! I did like my child's teacher though. There is no supervision for the children when crossing streets. There was no guard on duty when the children were let out of school until the last three weeks of school. I can't tell you how many children I saw almost get hit by parents in too big a hurry in their vehicles. My child often came home bored with school and stated she would much rather stay home and read her books. I do not feel this school is equipped to socially prepare children and because my child was often left feeling bored, restless and unchallenged (all of which the school addressed with me to be "drama issues" for my child) leads me to feel that they are also not interested in truly challenging the young mind. Overall, you could find a better school for your child, we did. Close Quote

Open Quote Its okay I moved from another district and the school got me and my daughter excited at first. But she came to miss some things about her old school. She also told me its easier to learn new stuff at her old school. So i guess they did okay just not what we expected. Close Quote

Open Quote This school is not a school I want to come back to. They say their school is exellent but I found it to be a diiferent experience. I really wanted my child to eat well but they seem to think its okay to feed they kids cake and surger for every party, birthday, occasion they feel like. my child got sick all over my car on several trips home from school. Always after a party. I also known since my child was younger that he reads and writes backwards. I figured the school would have mentioned it or helped him. Neither happened and he still does it when I tutor him over the summer. There are better schools for children. Close Quote

Open Quote me and my wife feel we are looked down on by the school staff, and when we did address them with issues they gave us the impression they didnt care. i personally got lectured by a staff member about what my son can and cannot do. i told my son to meet me at a certain spot after school (on school grounds) and istead of telling me its not allowed they lectured me.also the teacher mispells common words in her news letters which makes me wonder about her teacher performance. About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
