Open Quote I am a mother to a 6 year old little girl who goes to Britt Elementary. I do not like this school nor do I think this school is ran correctly. My daughter loved school till she came to this school. Now she asks to go back to her old school and if she can have a different teacher. I went to have a talk with my daughters teacher because some of the things my daughter came home to tell me was a little troubling. Like that the teacher won't let the kids go to the bathroom when they ask. To me this is not right because if a 6 year old asks to go to the bath room 9 time out of 10 its because they really need to go. My daughter also had an accident because her teacher wouldn't let her go to the bathroom when she asked and she was not the only one in her class who has had an accident because of not being allowed to go to the bathroom when they ask. So I have a talk with the teacher and she says that if my daughter asks to go to the bathroom she will let her go. Well, today I have lunch with my daughter and she needed to go to the bathroom and I sent her to ask her and the teacher tells her NO. So I get up and take her to the bathroom and when we come back from the bathroom her teacher comes up to me and in front of my daughter starts to reprimand me and tell me I'm not allowed to take my daughter to the bathroom. Excuse me but if my daughter needs to go to the bathroom I will take her before she pees on herself. Needless to say she keeps going on about how I have to follow her rules and this and that. So I check my daughter out and inform the principal I will be withdrawing my daughter on Monday! Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio
Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
