Open Quote A great school that fosters an exceptional learning environment for students. The teachers are invested in their students and communicate with parents exceptionally well. Close Quote

Open Quote My kid has been in school for 3 weeks and she has not learned 1 new thing yet!!! She comes home every day and asks me when she will learn something new. She is starting not to like school any more because she wants to learn but she has to wait for the other kids to catch up. I feel like my child's time is being wasted because everyone else is so far behind her and it is like the teachers do not even care. The schools in Georgia are some of the worst schools I have ever seen. I could teach my child better at home. Why should my child suffer from poor education because the teachers here are to lazy to help my kid progress. It is not her fault that the other kids are behind. Someone needs to send the teachers here back to college because they do not know what the hell there doing. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
