Arbor Springs Elementary is the city's top school (48th of 1,219 elementary schools statewide, 5 stars), with 82% of 5th graders proficient in math and 86% proficient in science—nearly double the state average—plus the lowest chronic absenteeism rate (7.2%). Brooks Elementary (77th statewide) and Madras Middle School (47th of 578 middle schools) also earn 5 stars, with Madras showing a strong upward trend in rankings over three years.
