Summary

Seven Oaks Elementary School in Wesley Chapel, FL, serves 656 students in grades PK through 5 and is a consistently high-performing school within the Pasco district, known for its decade-long streak of 4-star ratings from SchoolDigger and a strong reputation for academic excellence.

What truly sets Seven Oaks apart from nearby schools is its unmatched consistency and standout math program. While schools like Pine View Elementary School and Sand Pine Elementary School have shown improvement, Seven Oaks is the only school in the immediate area to achieve a 4-star rating every single year for the past decade. Its math proficiency is particularly impressive, with 3rd and 4th-grade scores (77% and 78%) being the highest among all nearby Pasco elementary schools. Unlike many peers that see a significant drop in math scores as grades progress, Seven Oaks avoids this "math dip," maintaining strong performance through 5th grade. Additionally, 100% of its 6th-grade students (likely those who have advanced to middle school) were proficient in math, a perfect score that no other nearby K-5 school has consistently achieved. The school also boasts the lowest chronic absenteeism rate in the area at 12.2%, far below the Pasco district average of 29.2%, indicating strong family-school connections.

For families considering their options, it is worth noting that Clark Elementary School in the neighboring Hillsborough district is a formidable competitor, with a higher overall state ranking and even stronger proficiency in some grades. However, Seven Oaks remains the undisputed top performer among its Pasco County peers, offering a stable, high-achieving environment with a strong science curriculum and a math program that prepares students exceptionally well for advanced coursework. Its consistent excellence makes it a reliable choice for families seeking a top-tier elementary education in the Wesley Chapel area.

Open Quote First question I have to ask here is does this school have a Principal? If there is one then I am in shock because I have never had a conversation with them, never had an email or voicemail returned, and have never gotten any indication that any of my concerns or questions are important enough to acknowledge. Is there a Principal? If there is then I would say they are completely rude and distant. What a HUGE mistake I have made sending my kids to a school where they are bullied by students and teachers yet somehow the issues are covered up and the offenders are protected. A school where my child is least important because I am not a PTA member. The worst schools in the worst neighborhoods up north are a Million times better because the teachers don't discriminate and there is accountability. Close Quote

Open Quote Ms. Smith knows just about every student's name. She may have been strict in her tenure but it kept he school running well and students on task when trouble was around. As a parent I had several conversations with Ms. Smith and Mrs. Gosick and felt I was fairly listened to and helped in whatever the situation was. The school has a well maintained campus and most of the teachers are excellent. There will always be those that are not up to par in any school. Close Quote

Open Quote Principal treats this school like her own private dictatorship. Parents and community are not very involved and involvment is not desired except for the few who enjoy some favored status by showing deference to the Principal. Low energy level school. Not a recipe for building champions of the future. Close Quote
