Open Quote It is unfortunate that I am the first to write a review and it's not a good one. I beg of the Pasco County School District to find a more caring and a more qualified Principal and replacement of the female Vice Principal. I was in the office of the school recently and walked past the V.P., making eye contact with her and I smiled. She looked through me with the most arrogant, straight face. I get smiles from every stranger I smile at, shouldn't the V.P. of my children's school at least crack a tiny smile? That says A LOT about her character, never mind her unprofessional-ism. This was not the first time I have witnessed her less-than-professional demeanor. She talks like a teenager and seems to enjoy her authority a bit too much. She takes no time in reprimanding kids on the smallest things. There are bigger problems in the school than she addresses. The Principal is biased against the cheer leaders and makes it obvious by making exceptions for other sports teams. They waited till the very last minute to hire a coach this year (even though there were qualified applicants prior to last minute) and taunted the girls who wanted to be cheer leaders by not allowing them the summer to have their cheer camp and usual practices to prepare for the season. The uniforms are old, tattered and bought in 2005-06. Meanwhile, the rival schools support their cheerleaders in many ways. I have witnessed the Principal (and other school staff) leave for the day and drive in the opposite direction of the school's traffic pattern- which is strictly enforced for the safety of the children. These may seem minute things, but when someone is the leader of a school, they are "on" all the time. They are role models. The middle school found 3 great Principals, why can't the high school get it right? Close Quote
