Open Quote It has pretty good teachers, and the deans are pretty nice there are also some teachers you just dont wanna mess with because their either strict or just straight up annoying, I overall think its a good school but the higher grades like 8th usually talk bout you in your face like you some kind of idiot but if your going there next year just choose who you hang out with wisely because it might just affect you for the rest of the year and also try not to get posted on the school pages (such as colms sleep, munchies, ugly, shaderoom, etc) Close Quote

Open Quote Molded portables made my kids and their teacher sick. You can see the mold on the outside of the portables. They were damaged by the rising flood waters from the lake during various hurricanes between 2012-2020. They removed some, but not all. They smell like mildew and cat pee. My kid said they pulled dead cats & rats out of a couple of them, but put my kid right back in there to get breathing problems. The teachers get so sick they have to quit. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
