Middle Schools in Palm Beach

This analysis examines 38 middle schools in the Palm Beach County School District in Florida, serving grades 6-8 across a diverse range of communities from Boca Raton to West Palm Beach.

The district's top performers are magnet and charter schools with specialized programs. Bak Middle School Of The Arts leads the district as the highest-ranked school in the state, achieving near-perfect proficiency rates across all subjects and the lowest chronic absenteeism rate at just 5.8%. Don Estridge High Technical Middle School follows closely with exceptional test scores, including 100% proficiency in Algebra 1. West Boynton Middle School has emerged as a rising 5-star school, combining high test scores with the second-lowest absenteeism rate (9.3%). At the other end of the spectrum, Congress Community Middle School and Palm Beach Preparatory Charter Academy Middle School face significant challenges, with the latter spending the most per student ($20,625) yet achieving the lowest test scores in the district.
