Girls Global Academy PCS is a small all-girls public charter high school in downtown Washington, DC, serving 183 students in grades 9–12. Because it operates as its own Girls Global Academy PCS district, the district's performance is identical to the school's: a 1-star rating ranking 36th out of 46 DC districts. The school's state ranking has declined steadily over the past three years, falling from 17th out of 34 DC high schools to 27th out of 36, placing it in the lower third of the city's high schools.

For parents considering Girls Global, the school offers a unique single-gender environment, small classes, and a graduation rate at the city average — but math instruction is clearly the most urgent area in need of improvement.
