There are encouraging signs of momentum beyond test scores. Lincoln's statewide percentile has risen from the 2nd percentile in 2022-2023 to the 19th percentile today. Hispanic students, who make up a large share of the student body, ranked at the 27th percentile statewide in 2025-2026, up from the 4th percentile two years earlier. However, challenges remain. Third-grade reading and math scores are still below district averages, and there are large achievement gaps compared with nearby suburban schools like Linden Street School in Plainville and Mary E. Griswold School in Berlin, which serve far fewer low-income students. Overall, Lincoln shows a school with positive momentum and strong results relative to its district, even as systemic challenges persist.
