Skyview Elementary School is a K–5 school in Thornton, Colorado, serving 326 students as part of the Adams 12 Five Star School District. The school holds a 2-star state rating and ranked in the 38th percentile of Colorado elementary schools in 2025–26, a step below its district's mid-tier standing. Academically, Skyview trails both district and state averages in every tested subject: 35.6% of students are proficient in English Language Arts (compared to 42.3% in the district and 44.7% statewide), 30.6% in Math (vs. 35.5% district and 37.3% state), and 30.6% in 5th-grade Science (vs. 35.6% and 36.1%).

The school's biggest structural advantage is its class size.
