Open Quote I love this school. My two boys have attended this school from the beginning. We are a Military family and we move often, whenever we move back to CO we go back to JMCA. My children can't wait to go back this year after spending 2 years in Korea. The faculty is great and very understanding and accommodating to the child's individual needs and learning pace. Open Quote This is a small school which works with many diverse children. The parents are required to be involved in the education and care of their children. Misbehavior is dealt with adequately. The teachers are able to teach the children at the level they can learn at. The first child I brought to this school because this was the only school that promised to teach him at his level. He had begun to read at age 3 and could do basic math skills not much later. His preschool teachers said he was ready for school at age 4, but no school would let him in. In kindergarten he was taught 2nd grade math and reading. That was seven years ago. The kindergarten teacher this year (2010/2011) upgraded what she was teaching this year because so many of the students were ready for it. In sixth grade some students are on guided independent study for some subjects because they are beyond the curriculum. This is a place where what they learn in Kindergarten is built on successively through sixth grade. It is a project based curriculum so the students have to do projects in pretty much every subject. There are some things I would like to have included that aren't available yet, but they will come as the school grows. Close Quote

Open Quote School leadership is poor and there is a lack of supervision. There is a great deal of bullying happening and either being ignored or allowed by the faculty. Close Quote
