Brush High School

Brush High School is a public high school in Brush, Colorado, serving 350 students in grades 9–12 as part of the School District No. Re-2 Brush. The school serves a predominantly low-income community, with nearly 55% of students qualifying for free or reduced-price lunch in the 2024–2025 school year.

The most distinctive strength of Brush High School is its remarkable persistence record. The school boasts a 95.2% graduation rate—far above the 85.6% state average—and a dropout rate of just 1.0%, well below the state and nearby peers. This stands in stark contrast to Lincoln High School, which has a 41.7% graduation rate, and is also better than Fort Morgan High School's 83.7% graduation rate. Chronic absenteeism at Brush is 26.5%, better than the state average of 28.4% and significantly lower than Fort Morgan's 31.7%.
