Academy of Charter Schools is a large PK-12 charter school in Westminster, Colorado, serving 1,887 students under the State Charter School Institute. The school serves a moderately diverse population, with about 34% of students qualifying for free or reduced-price lunch, and sits in a region that includes both elite charters and lower-performing online alternatives.

Academically, this is a mixed performer. English Language Arts is a clear strength, with 48.4% of students proficient on CMAS ELA — above the state's 44.7% — and upper-grade science is exceptional: 54.5% of 11th graders scored proficient on CMAS Science, more than double the state rate. Mathematics is the weak spot, with just 34.8% proficient on CMAS math, below the state average of 37.3%, and that gap persists across SAT and PSAT math results.
