ZIP code 93550 has 17 schools—10 elementary, three middle, two high and two alternative—serving grade spans from K–5 to K–12, with enrollment ranging from 63 to 2,259 students. In 2025–2026, the 16 schools with current scores averaged 30% in ELA, 16% in math and 16% in science, compared with state rates of 49%, 38% and 36%. The biggest area-wide gap is in math: the average school result was 22 percentage points below the state.

Palmdale Academy Charter led in ELA at 62% and science at 37%, about 13 and 1 point above state rates. Innovations Academy of Palmdale led in math at 37%, about 1 point below the state, and ranked second in ELA at 42%.
