Five high schools serve ZIP code 92701, with grade spans ranging from 9–12 to 6–12; OCSA serves grades 7–12, and enrollments range from 36 to 2,505 students. Their results show a sharply divided academic picture rather than one shared profile: OCSA stands well above the state, while several schools are below it, especially in math.
OCSA was the clear academic leader in 2024–25, with 84% proficient in ELA, 70% in math, and 65% in science—about 33 to 35 percentage points above state results in each subject. Its lead over the next-highest school was 15 points in ELA, 55 in math, and 38 in science. At the other end, REACH Academy had the lowest reported results: 6% in ELA, 6% in math, and 0% in science.
