Summary:
OCSA District contains one school, OCSA, a high school serving grades 7–12 with 2,346 students. With no other district schools to compare, the clearest picture comes from comparing its results with California’s. In 2025–26, proficiency was 85% in English language arts (ELA), 70% in math and 74% in science, compared with 49%, 38% and 36% statewide. The most important finding is that OCSA was substantially above the state in all three subjects, with its largest lead in science: 38 percentage points.
OCSA is both the district’s highest- and lowest-scoring school by default; there is no within-district comparison. For context, its student-teacher ratio was 18 in 2024–25, and 16% of students were reported as free/reduced lunch eligible that year. With only one school, these figures cannot establish how such characteristics relate to outcomes.
