Open Quote Having kids and living next to St Cornelius, this is not the school for me. I see how St Cornelius kids behave on the playground, calling each other names, teasing, throwing trash everywhere..I wonder what they teach those kids. It appears that being as inconsiderate, rude, obnoxious and a huge lack of respect for others and the environment is the curriculum. They have no regards for the police department, codes or ordinances. We have to call the police department 2 -3 times a week on average.
They are also not beyond lying....they will tell the police officer that they are finishing up, when in actuality they have no intention of finishing up and continue
The teacher's aids can barely communicate in English and being a private school, they are not required to have accredited teachers.
They also do not believe in Freedom of Religion nor the right to domestic tranquility. We the neighbors are required to listen to every mass they hold, since they use loudspeakers and microphones. Even thought they have been warned by the City that it's against the laws to do that, they still continue and actually have gotten worst with the evangelism.
Every day and night there is some activity here from 7:30 am until 10:00pm. They think nothing of having a marching band practice 30 ft from neighbor's homes. Now this is a big school, they could actually rehears in the gym but no...let's annoy the neighbors. It's like this every night of the week and Sunday's it's unbelievable. We have to listen to bells ringing at 6:45 am, 6:50am 6:55am and 7:00am. Then again at 7:45am, 7:50am, 7:55am and 8:00am. This happens for every mass they hold and it start's at 7:00, 8:00, 10:00, 12:00, 2:00, 6:00pm. Not only are the bells going but you can actually stand outside and listen to the whole mass. For most people once on Sunday is enough but we have to listen to it 6 times. Do they care? No..the neighbors have been fighting with these people for years. Is this the type of organization you really want to support? Close Quote
