New Temple is a K–5 school in South El Monte, serving 606 students in the Valle Lindo Elementary district. Its results stand out among nearby schools: in 2025–26, it was above California’s proficiency rates in English language arts (ELA), math and science. Most importantly, it led nearby schools in ELA and science and ranked second in math.
