Summary

Traver Elementary is a 235-student school serving kindergarten through grade 8 in Traver, a small community in California’s Central Valley. In 2025–2026, 39% of students were proficient in English Language Arts (ELA), 33% in math, and 7% in science. The most important concern is science: the result was 29 points below California’s, and lower than every nearby school with a reported result.

Math is the school’s strongest subject relative to the state, but it does not put the school ahead of most nearby schools. ELA and math results exactly matched those at Traver Joint Elementary; compared with California, the school was 11 points lower in ELA and 5 points lower in math.
