Kings River Elementary is a K–8 school with 389 students in Kingsburg, in the Kings River Union Elementary District. Its most important challenge is that 2025–2026 all-grades proficiency was below California’s in every tested subject: 31% in English language arts (ELA), 23% in math and 22% in science, compared with state rates of 49%, 38% and 36%.
