Hacienda Science/Environmental Magnet is a 622-student K–5 school in San Jose, in the South Bay, and part of San Jose Unified. Its clearest strength is that 2025–2026 proficiency was above state and district results in all three tested subjects, with the biggest advantages in math and science.

Hacienda’s proficiency was 66% in ELA, 65% in math and 61% in science. That compares with state rates of 49%, 38% and 36%, respectively, and district rates of 51%, 42% and 41%.
