Summary

Silverado High is a small grades 9–12 high school in Mission Viejo, serving 200 students in Saddleback Valley Unified. Its latest reported proficiency rates are very low: 13% in English language arts (ELA), 3% in math and 6% in science, and its 2025–2026 graduation rate was 85%. The most striking concern is attendance: 71% of students were chronically absent in 2025–2026, compared with 18% statewide and 13% in the district.

Test results are near the bottom among nearby schools and far behind district and state figures.
