Summary

Lampson Elementary is a K–6 school in Garden Grove, serving 676 students in Orange Unified and surrounded by a comparison group of 10 nearby schools. Its clearest concern is that 2025–2026 proficiency was below both the state and district in English language arts (ELA), mathematics, and science; among the 11 schools compared, Lampson was near the bottom in all three subjects.

Sixth-grade ELA is a notable strength: 51% of Lampson students were proficient, above the state’s 48% and higher than results at five nearby schools serving sixth graders.
